Southern Strength showcases what adjusting the quantity of botanicals, as well as increasing the alcohol percentage, can do to alter the flavour of a spirit drastically. Where Triple Juniper is lighter with fresher citrus, Southern Strength is its boastful and powerful counterpart. The juniper presents huge wafts of sappy, more wooded spice notes, and the increase of citrus botanicals brings forward dried, oilier characteristics. The higher ABV pulls up the spice, giving the gin more complexity and intrigue. More coriander seed and pepperberry mingle to give the spirit a piquant edge, driving its robust nature home.
