Bright, vivid & charismatic, this gin pulls its botanical inspiration from the Indian heritage of Blackhearts & Sparrows founders (Jessica & Paul Ghaie). While using such energetic flavours, the gin still maintains its quintessential 'gin' core, juniper is still present, and pairs beautifully with each of the spices used. Including aniseed myrtle in the single-shot distillation has helped to bring in a luscious amount of velvety textures. Single Shot or London Dry gins often have a dry, alcohol driven palate, coupled with the drier, potent botanicals in this gin, without the aniseed myrtle, it may have been an arid, dessicated gin rather than the rich, flavourful gin that it is. The palate is generous and interesting with its flavours and has a polished consideration that makes for an invigorating and clever spirit.
