The Lane Vineyard is one of the Adelaide Hills' elite wine tourism attractions, with a cellar door and restaurant that offers focused tastings by region and style, with endless views. Established by the Edwards family in '93, it was acquired by the UK’s Vestey Group in '12, before returning to Australian ownership in '25 when CEO Jared Stringer and a local Adelaide Hills investor purchased the business. Four distinct tiers of single-vineyard wines are produced at The Lane: the entry-level Lane series from the Adelaide Hills, the Gathering series from in and around the Adelaide Hills and the top-tier Estate and Heritage ranges from their Hahndorf estate vines. -JAMES HALLIDAY
