Our Review
After a lifetime of working in the family business, including a decade in wine production full time and several vintages in France, Alisdair Tulloch launched his own label in ’23 with his wife, Kenisha. While the resources of Keith Tulloch Wines, including the estate’s vineyards and winemaking facilities, are at Alisdair’s disposal, Aeon (the name is a reference to how the geography and climate in the Hunter Valley has been shaped over billions of years) is a separate brand with a distinct approach. Only fruit that Alisdair has grown or tended himself (predominantly shiraz), with a small amount purchased from local growers, is used, and while the wines are distinctly Hunter Valley, they’re made in a much lighter and fresher style with minimal oak influence. -ANNA WEBSTER
