Food
Information
Food and wine are at the heart of the Heritage experience, with immersive dining created by fine-dining Chef Blake and designed around the wines, vineyards and changing seasons of the Granite Belt. Dinner dining experiences: selected Fridays and Saturdays; bookings essential.
Vine + Dine Journey Lunch
A relaxed yet refined five-dish lunch matched with seven Heritage wines, with each pairing introduced at the table. Guests can explore the working winery and vineyard, meet the people behind the wines and take in views across the vines and rose gardens. The menu changes seasonally and may feature premium Queensland seafood, local produce and Granite Belt ingredients.
Fireside Friday
Friday evenings are made for roaring fires, candlelight, museum wines and beautifully prepared food. Fireside Friday is a more relaxed way to experience Heritage, with Chef Blake creating generous tapas-style dishes designed for sharing alongside a selection of current and aged wines. Set beneath the soaring ceilings of the cellar door, it is intimate, warm and distinctly Granite Belt.
Earth, Wine & Fire Progressive Dinner
This immersive progressive dinner moves through the estate, beginning among the vines before continuing to the grand cellar door and working winery, and finishing with dessert in the atmospheric Barrel Room. Guests travel into the vineyard, taste wines alongside the places where they are grown, meet the vignerons and experience the connection between soil, season, food and wine.
Expect fire, candlelight, vineyard sunsets, soaring ceilings, the scent of roses and the heady aroma of oak barrels and maturing wine. Each course is paired with Heritage wines and interpreted through the landscape in which they were created.
5-Senses Degustation – Black Tie Dinner
Held on the second Saturday of each month, the 5-Senses Degustation is Heritage’s most theatrical dining experience.
Guests are seated around the extraordinary 17-seat rosewood and leather Executive Council table, with an evening designed to engage sight, sound, scent, taste and touch.
Chef Blake presents an eight-course fine-dining degustation matched with up to 12 Heritage wines, including museum releases. The evening may include flambé and smoked dishes, interactive wine blending, the aromas of the 54-piece Le Nez du Vin collection, a sommelier sensory kit, candlelight, silver and linen, live string music and photography.
It is fine dining with a sense of theatre, built around one idea: experiencing wine not simply in the glass, but through food, people and place.
Across all of Heritage’s dining experiences, the food is created to complement the wines rather than compete with them. Guests may encounter Queensland seafood, premium beef and lamb, artisan cheeses, seasonal vegetables and elegant desserts, with pairings selected to showcase both current-release and museum wines.
The cellar door itself forms part of the experience, overlooking vineyards and rose gardens, with soaring ceilings, open fires and the working winery just beyond.
Heritage’s approach is immersive and personal: meet the winemaker and viticulturist, taste wines beside the vines, walk through the winery, dine beside the fire and finish an evening beneath the extraordinarily clear Granite Belt night sky.
