Anvers

South Australia | Adelaide Hills

Our Review

Anvers is a family-owned estate at Kangarilla in the Adelaide Hills, established by Myriam and Wayne Keoghan. The name is a nod to Myriam’s Belgian origins in Antwerp. The vineyard is planted to 16ha of sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, shiraz, barbera and gamay; cabernet sauvignon is sourced from Langhorne Creek. Winemaker Kym Milne MW has 30 years of experience, including a stint as chief winemaker for Villa Maria in NZ. An old dairy, built in 1949, has been converted into a cellar door. -JAMES HALLIDAY
