Owner and winemaker Ryan Haynes caught the wine bug after travelling to and from school through the Barossa Valley. This enthusiasm and curiosity of the vines led to the completion of his masters of oenology at Roseworthy. He swiftly accrued several vintages, both here (Henschke, St Hallet, Chateau Tanunda) and abroad. Most notably — and perhaps most relevant —he landed at Nyetimber, the leading sparkling producer in the UK. Today, Ryan works with Adelaide Hills growers, producing solely sparkling wines, though plans are to expand the portfolio with a range of table wines from the ’26 vintage. -KATRINA BUTLER
