Tomich Wines

South Australia | Adelaide Hills | Peramangk and Kaurna peoples

Our Review

John Tomich was born on a vineyard near Mildura, where he learned the skills and knowledge required for premium grapegrowing. After a career as an ENT specialist, he completed postgraduate studies in winemaking at the University of Adelaide in ’02. His son Randal is a cutting from the old vine (metaphorically speaking), having invented new equipment and techniques for tending the family’s vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, resulting in a 60% saving in time and fuel costs. Third-generation Jack Tomich has since joined the team, too. -JAMES HALLIDAY
