Barossa Boy Wines

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

Sixth-generation Barossan, Trent Burge is the son of Grant and Helen Burge, and a self-styled country boy who liked nothing better than exploring the family’s 356ha of vineyards. In ‘06 he joined the Grant Burge business, learning every facet of winemaking and marketing. In Feb ’16, Accolade acquired the business, making it inevitable that Trent would strike out on his own. The slick website, high quality labelling and packaging of his Barossa Boy Wines bear witness to his marketing experience. His grapes come from vineyards in special sites across the Barossa and Eden valleys, and it’s a fair bet the family vineyards play a large role in that. -JAMES HALLIDAY
