Chris ‘Hatch’ Hatcher has quite a resume. Post-university, he started with Kaiser Stuhl in ’74, spent 9 years at Orlando before joining Wolf Blass in ’87. In ’96, he was promoted to chief winemaker, where he remained until ‘retiring’ in ’23 to launch HATCH. It would take a while to list Chris’s awards and achievements on the international stage, but I think it is fair to say that, with such a distinguished career in wine, there is a buzz surrounding this label, and the wines certainly deliver with detailed fruit purity.
