Our Review
Brothers Phil and Kevin Liu followed their father from Taiwan to mainland China, working for their father’s car component factory. In 2006 they made a life-changing decision to migrate to Australia and saw an opportunity to start a wine export business to China. They named their business Rytor. It succeeded and over the following years they both obtained master's degrees – Phil in oenology from the University of Adelaide, Kevin in marketing from the University of South Australia. By ’14 they had taken another major step: building and managing their own winery at Light Pass in the Barossa Valley. Exports to Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
