After the sale of Maglieri Wines to Beringer Blass in '98, Maglieri founder Serafino (Steve) Maglieri acquired the McLarens on the Lake complex originally established by Andrew Garrett. The operation draws upon over 120ha of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, merlot, semillon, barbera, nebbiolo, sangiovese, and grenache; part of the grape production is sold.
