Partners in wine and life, Chris Dilworth and Loïque Allain have crammed so much into their young lives from vintages across Australia, France and Italy. Loïque is also an accomplished artist focusing on linocuts/printmaking with a studio outlet in Daylesford, plus her art adorns the labels. And they have a young family. Their energy shines in the wines. They were drawn to the cool climate of the Macedon Ranges, with its capacity to make wines on the edge, yet they focus on good fruit, eschewing additions other than SO2, allowing site to make its mark, rather than the winemaker’s imprint.
