Brookland Valley

Western Australia | Margaret River | The cellar door is on the traditional land of the Wadandi people

Our Review

Brookland Valley has an idyllic setting, with its restaurant, Flutes, overlooking Wilyabrup Brook. The vineyard is located on the edge of Leeuwin’s Naturaliste Ridge and is planted predominantly to cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. In '22, Vinarchy (then Accolade) reached a lease-back agreement with Frankland River producer Swinney (see separate entry) to sell them the vineyard and property while retaining the Brookland Valley brand. Winemaker Courtney Treacher joined Houghton Wines as a cellarhand in ’04, working her way up to her current role as senior winemaker for both Houghton and Brookland Valley Wines. The quality, value for money and consistency of the wines are exemplary.
