Our Review
Erl Happ is a potter, winemaker, creator and experimenter. He designed and built the mudbrick, concrete form and timber winery and made the first crusher. In ’94, he planted a 30ha vineyard at Karridale to no less than 28 varieties, including some of the earliest plantings of tempranillo in Australia. The Three Hills label is made from varieties grown at this vineyard.
