An exceptionally well-located vineyard (riesling, pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and grüner veltliner), winery and cellar door on a 55ha property with sweeping vistas of the Porongurup Range, operated by the Diletti family. The 2-level winery, set on a natural slope, maximises gravity flow. The rieslings have always been elegant and have handsomely repaid time in bottle; the pinot noir is the most consistent performer in the region; the shiraz is a great cool-climate example; and chardonnay has joined a thoroughly impressive quartet, elegance the common link. Complimentary wine tastings at the cellar door. No bookings required (groups of 6 or more, please call ahead). Wine experiences, including wine flights (riesling and pinot noir) and vineyard and winery tours, are available – bookings are required. Cheese grazing boxes are also available, or bring a picnic to enjoy on the verandah and lawn.
