Our Review
A once-tiny Riesling specialist in the wilds of the Porongurups, forced to change its name from Narang because Lindemans felt it could be confused with its (now defunct) Nyrang Shiraz brand. This beautifully sited vineyard was acquired by Perth orthopaedic surgeon Dr Peter Honey in 2001. The vineyard now has 23ha of riesling, chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and shiraz. Most of the grapes are sold, but Dr Honey intends to slowly increase production from the older vines under the Gibraltar Rock label. Exports to the UK, China and Japan. -JAMES HALLIDAY
