There is no wine variety more synonymous with Australia than shiraz. South Australia’s Barossa Valley is home to some of the oldest shiraz vines in the country and produces excellent examples, as seen below with the two of the leading wines coming from the region. The remaining four 99-point shiraz wines only further parade the triumph of the variety in Australia.
