"A grand total of 369 rosé wines were reviewed for this edition of the guide; the top 7 were then reviewed blind at the annual judging to determine the winner. Among the varieties represented were grenache, cinsault, pinot noir, sangiovese and nebbiolo. There was a bounty of expressive and intentional wines, but the gong was destined for Stephen and Fiona Pannell’s Koomilya Mataro Rosé." – Katrina Butler
