It is a beautifully composed wine; all space, light and elegance with not a hair out of place. Pure red cherry, red plum and raspberry fruits with a murmur of cranberry over hints of exotic spice, leaf litter, dried shiitake, poached rhubarb, some light hung game and struck flint tones, citrus blossom, crushed stone and an expression of citrus oil. Airy and savoury on the palate with an impressive detail and clarity to its travel, fine, powdery tannins, saline acidity and a graceful arc of flavour on the finish. – Dave Brookes
